• Per SAP Sizing guidelines for HANA on Power, IBM Power10 solution is fully virtualized using IBM PowerVM.
• x86 database (DB) servers are deployed on bare metal servers. Applications (Apps) and non-HANA SAP Landscapes are virtualized on separate servers from HANA DB bare metal server using VMware Enterprise Plus.
• Production HANA DB will Failover to Dev&QA HANA DB in DC, DR is standalone.
• (DR) is sized at 100% of Production.
• Sizing for HANA Production DB on Power10 is at 240GB/core. Sizing for Apps and non-HANA SAP Landscapes for Power10 is at 7,800 SAPS/core.
• Sizing for HANA Production DB on x86 is at 64GB/core. Sizing for Apps and non-HANA SAP Landscapes for x86 is at 3,200 SAPS/core.
• IBM Power Sybase will be deployed on AIX Standard Edition and S/4 HANA DB and Apps is deployed on Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) for SAP Applications.
